Annual maintenance—essential for warranty coverage and safe operation—includes thorough burner inspection and cleaning, heat exchanger cleaning and inspection, air filter replacement, thermostat calibration, safety valve and gas train testing, and flue pipe inspection for corrosion or blockage. Gas Reznor units require annual service to maintain safe combustion and prevent carbon monoxide hazards.
